Terms and Conditions
Privacy Policy
Mountains Music Collective is committed to protecting the privacy of our students, parents, and staff. We collect personal information such as names, contact details, and relevant learning information solely for lesson delivery, administration, and communication purposes. Personal information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with client consent. All records are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel. Clients may request access to or correction of their personal information at any time.
Fees & Payment
Lesson fees are charged by term unless otherwise agreed. Payment must be made by the due date stated on the invoice. Ongoing enrolment is confirmed once payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
Teacher Cancellations: If a teacher is unable to provide a scheduled lesson, the student will be offered either a full refund for that lesson or a credit applied to the next term’s fees.
Student Cancellations: If a student cancels a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, the lesson fee is still payable and no make-up lesson will be provided. If a student cancels with more than 24 hours’ notice and a valid reason, Mountains Music Collective offers up to two (2) make-up lessons per student per term, subject to teacher availability. Additional missed lessons beyond the two make-ups per term are forfeited.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only provided when a teacher is unable to deliver the agreed service. Refunds are not provided for student absences outside the terms of the Cancellation Policy. Approved refunds or credits will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.
Make-Up Lessons
Make-up lessons are limited to two (2) per student per term. Make-up lessons must be scheduled within the same term where possible and are subject to availability. Make-up lessons cannot be carried over to future terms.
Code of Conduct
Students and teachers are expected to treat one another with respect at all times. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in lesson suspension or cancellation without refund.
Policy Updates
Mountains Music Collective reserves the right to update or amend these policies as required. Any changes will be communicated to clients in a timely manner.
